What is True Love?
“What is True Love? Do you understand the meaning of the word? The world misuses the word love for lust or when they like something. When you love someone, you would lay down your life for them. I have commanded that husbands love their wives as I love the church. I laid down My Life freely on Calvary to offer a plan of redemption for every man’s soul. I Am eagerly awaiting and anticipating the time in which My Father tells Me to go get My Bride-the Church-the ones who have believed and placed their faith in Me. I love you with an everlasting love,” saith the Lord.
"I Am a God of Grace and Mercy. I Am a God of unending love. I do not will that any perish, but that all may have everlasting life. I sent My Son into this world so that you would not be condemned but set free, made righteous in my sight. By the shedding of his blood, he hath covered all the sins of those who believe, seek forgiveness, and turn from their wicked ways. For those who believe shall receive the eternal gift of salvation freely given for each and every one,” saith the Lord.
"Don’t you understand? This is the ultimate gift of Love, a Sacrifice made once to cover sin for all of history. Why would you not accept such a gift of love? Why would you reject it and choose to continue in your sin and your separation from Me? For when you are not covered by the blood, I see only your filth. Your righteousness is as dirty rags to a Holy God. But My Son’s blood covers sin and makes it white as snow. Be washed in it today, for you are not guaranteed tomorrow. Every breath is a gift from God,” saith the Lord.
“I want to dwell within you and speak love, joy, peace, patience, and gentleness to your soul. Why do you choose to be empty, broken vessels when I can make you new? I can fill you up with My Holy Spirit until you overflow. Love is allowing you the choice to follow Me or the things of this world. Love is making a way where there was no way to come to My Father. Love is never giving up and hoping that you will ask Me to come into your heart and that you will turn from your wicked, worldly ways. My Love bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things, My Love never fails. I Am waiting for you, dear one,” saith the Lord of Hosts.
John 15:13
